Prologue
On a quiet autumn day, the acorn village was full of joy. Piled high in the center of town were mountains of precious acorns, gathered one by one over the course of an entire year by every villager working side by side. They were more than just food. They were hope for surviving the bitter winter ahead, a treasure filled with the sweat and smiles of every single neighbor.

But the joy did not last long. Without warning, a thunderous roar shook the village. The Pig King's army came crashing in, trampling everything in their path. The ruthless soldiers swept through without mercy and carried off every last acorn. Not one was left behind. When the dust settled, only despair and fear remained.

The villagers stood in silence, heads low. Then one small figure stood up. Munk was the tiniest one in the whole village. But no one had a braver heart. It wasn't that there was no fear. But the tears on every neighbor's face made it impossible to stay still.

On the long road ahead, Munk finds an unexpected companion: Deer. Big, warm-hearted, and somehow delightfully oblivious to most things. The two could not be more different in personality or ability, and at first they bump heads constantly. But somewhere along the way, walking side by side, they both realize the same thing: neither one can do this without the other.

The road back to the acorns is long and full of danger. The Pig King's forces lurk around every corner, and unknown lands stretch out ahead where neither of them has ever been. But that is okay.
