Description

4-Player Classic Arcade Action

THE ARCADE CLASSICS YOU GREW UP WITH. REBUILT FOR TODAY.

The year is 2085. A runaway mega-intelligence called the Algorithm has decided humanity is obsolete, and unleashed millions of networked humanoid robots to make sure of it. You are one of the anomalies: minds the Algorithm could never map, predict, or control. Grab a controller and start fighting back.

RETROBOT: 2085 is a fast, frantic twin-stick shooter made in the style of a spiritual successor to one of your arcade favourites - a love letter to the golden age of the arcade, modernised with a fully 3D retro art style and that unmistakable 8-bit bleep-and-bloop soundtrack.

• ENDLESS ROBOTIC HORDES - Dismantle wave after wave of humanoid robots across dozens of levels, each one more relentless than the last.
• RESCUE THE LAST HUMAN FAMILY - Find every survivor scattered through the level. Reach them and they're rescued instantly for huge bonus points.
• CHASE THE HIGH SCORE - Classic arcade scoring, extra lives, and a leaderboard to settle who's the best, once and for all. Earn your spot - and your initials - at the top of the table.
• 4-PLAYER LOCAL MULTIPLAYER - Connect extra controllers and team up with up to three friends for chaotic local multiplayer action.
• TUNED FOR THE PAD - Precision twin-stick controls built around a controller, the way modern arcade action is meant to be played.
• A SECRET WORTH FINDING - Enter a classic secret code (remember these?) to unlock the hidden Service Menu, where you can switch on classic-style waves and controls for the original arcade experience.

Everything is playable from the start - no purchases required to unlock content, no forced progression systems gating your progress. Just you, an endless robot horde, and a high score table calling your name. How far can you get? Grab a friend (or three) and find out.
